Initial Chinese Medicine Consultation

Chinese Medicine consultations start with an initial 90 minute session. Extra time is allowed for the first consultation in order to cover questioning and thorough investigation into your main complaint. In addition to questioning, tongue, pulse, facial reading, movement exercises and more are used to examine the mind and the body. Once there is an understanding of the main complaint, the session will move the the treatment table. Jarryd uses a combination of Acupuncture, bodywork, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, diet and lifestyle changes in order to help bring harmony to the mind and body. In some cases, herbal medicine is recommended and will come at an extra cost to the patient.
Follow up Chinese Medicine Consultation

Follow up Chinese Medicine consultations are only available to those who have already had an initial 90 minute session with Jarryd. Follow up consultations work similarly to initial consults however there is less need for questioning and investigation in these consults. Acupuncture, bodywork, moxibustion, gua sha and cupping are used to restore balance to the mind and body.

Jarryd offers a unique approach to bodywork that combines a blend of studies undertaken in Zenthai, Shiatsu and Tui Na Chinese massage. Massage takes place on a futon, and is fully clothed.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing for Shiatsu.

Dr. Jarryd Harvey (TCM) offers online consultations for those unable to see him in person. Telehealth wellness appointments typically last 60 minutes and are conducted via video call. During the consultation, Jarryd utilises functional blood work analysis, detailed questioning, and tongue examination to uncover the root cause of your health concerns. Herbal medicine, supplementation, dietary guidance, and lifestyle recommendations are then tailored to support your healing journey.

Astrology readings are based on the interpretation of celestial bodies’ positions at the time of a person’s birth, primarily the Sun, Moon, planets, and the twelve astrological signs of the zodiac.
Jarryd is very passionate about Astrology and has been studying the practise for over 5 years. He is available to read birth charts, current transits, secondary progressions, synastry (relationship Astrology) and more in online sessions.
Please ensure you have your date, location and time of birth before the session to ensure the most accurate reading.
